Borrow Tools from the
Kenton County Library
Empower Tools, the Kenton County Public Library’s free tool lending service, has moved and is now located at 321 West Martin Luther King Boulevard in the Center for Great Neighborhood’s complex in Covington. Empower Tools is a great resource for those who only occasionally need a specific tool and don’t want to have to buy and store it. Tree pruners, rakes, weed eaters, ladders, drills, shovels, saws and more. There are over 100 tools available. To borrow:
- You must be a Kenton County Public Library card holders (18+) in good standing. If you don’t live in Kenton County you can still get a library card due to a reciprocal agreement. https://www.kentonlibrary.org/library-card/library-card-application
- Up to 3 items may be borrowed at a time and all items are loaned for 7 days.
- Prior to borrowing, users must present valid ID and complete a liability waiver.
